Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea captured an adorable moment of her eldest son Charlie with their house cat Champ as the Freemans get into the Christmas festivities. They had adopted the kitten just three days after Freeman had won the World Series with the Dodgers.

Charlie had called up his father Freddie Freeman to seek his approval for the adoption. His mother then took him to a cat adoption drive organized by Stray Cat Alliance in LA. Chelsea shared some delightful images from the day on social media showcasing her three kids with the cat.

"Meet “Champ” … because why not adopt a kitten 3 days after the World Series 🤭. Freddie took a nap and woke up to a FaceTime from Charlie asking if he could get a cat 😁"

Freddie Freeman had met his wife in 2011, when she was pursuing a degree in University of Central Florida and he had been already drafted into the big leagues by the Braves. The duo got engaged in 2014, a year after she had graduated from college.

They proceeded with their wedding rituals on Nov. 22, 2014 at the St. Regis Bal Harbour in Miami Beach, Florida. They are parents to three kids, Frederick Charles Freeman II, Brandon John and Maximus Turner, who were born in 2016, 2020, and 2021 respectively.

Freeman was joined by all of his family members on the victory parade bus in Los Angeles after Dodgers had sealed the eighth World Series in franchise history. Now he is enjoying time with his family during the offseason.
