Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea Freeman reacts to husband's game-tying double that propels the Dodgers to victory

For most of Freddie Freeman's career, his wife, Chelsea, has been his biggest fan and supporter. After the Dodgers star came up with a clutch hit on Tuesday, Chelsea's reaction was no different.

In the bottom of the ninth inning of the Dodgers' game against the D-Backs on Wednesday, LA was trailing 5-4 until Freddie Freeman connected on a 0-2 pitch from closer Paul Sewald. The ball split the Arizona outfield and went all the way to the wall, giving Freeman an RBI double.

Freeman's clutch double set the stage for Teoscar Hernandez, who singled in his next at-bat to drive Freeman home. The Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5 to deliver the club's 53rd win of the season.

Although his wife Chelsea was at home with her three sons, she watched the exciting sequence on TV. After Freddie came up with the game-knotting double, Chelsea took to Instagram to caption the Los Angeles' Dodgers upload with her own terms of encouragement.

Chelsea Goff and Freddie Freeman first met in 2011, while he was a sophomore first baseman for the Atlanta Braves and she was a college student in Florida.

The pair dated for a while before tying the knot in late 2014. Now, the pair are proud parents to three young boys, who also make regular appearances at Dodgers games to cheer on their dad.

A seven-time All-Star, Freeman is having another tremendously successful season for the Dodgers. Apart from his .302/.404/.516 slashline, the 34-year-old has also swatted 13 home runs and 56 RBIs, contributing to his team touting the second-best record in the National League.

In Wednesday night's game, Freeman contributed with a home run, three RBIs and a walk despite his team losing 12-4 to the D-Backs. Freeman is just two doubles away from joining some exclusive company in the 500 club.
