On Friday, Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman's wife, Chelsea, took to Instagram to post a message to her story.

She raised awareness about opportunities to donate to those that have lost their belongings due to the ongoing catastrophic Los Angeles wildfire, while also expressing her own desire to contribute however possible.

"They are accepting donations at Rose Bowl in lot 1 🫶 I believe there is a resident only curfew 6pm-6am so keep those hours in mind. @melanieboppel helped purge Freddie and I's closet the day before the fires started... I would love to know the best place to bring our clothes/shoes to. I also have a bunch of @chelseafreemancollective clothing & accessories I would love to donate," Chelsea Freeman captioned her Instagram story.

Having broke out shortly after the turn of the year, the combination of the strong California winds and low humidity have caused the Los Angeles wildfires to escalate to frightening levels. Per reports, the fires have already tragically claimed the lives of more than 10 LA residents.

Per reports, the areas that are currently most affected are Santa Monica and Malibu, which have been utterly decimated by the ferocious wildfires. As of now, there are unfortunately no signs of any kind of let up.
