It's been 10 years since Freddie Freeman and Chelsea got engaged and took a major step in their relationship. The couple began dating in June 2011 and got married in November 2014 at the St. Regis Bal Harbour in Miami Beach, Florida.
The couple welcomed their first child, son Charlie, in 2016, while they became parents to Brandon and Maximus in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Their decade-long relationship called for a special celebration and the Dodgers first baseman did not disappoint.
Freeman took his wife to a special retreat in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. On Sunday, Chelsea shared a series of photos from their time together on Instagram, including a special candlelight dinner date beachside.
"🔟 year anniversary trip in Cabo🫶🏻🇲🇽☀️ @freddiefreeman," Chelsea wrote in the caption.
Freedie's teammate and Dodgers star James Outman's wife Dasha wished the couple in the comments section.
"Happy anniversary!" she wrote.

On July 2, 2014, six months after they got engaged, Chelsea Freeman wrote a heartwarming post for her then-soon-to-be-husband. She added a collage of the couple's romantic moments from their date nights and highlighted why the first baseman was the right fit for her.
"He makes me smile every single day, he encourages me when I'm down, he still opens my car door, he's learned to buy me a card and flowers every birthday," Chelsea wrote in the caption.
"I've watched him mature into the amazing man he is today. He is the first and only man I have ever loved... 3 years ago he asked me to be his girlfriend. And I'm sure glad he did😊 I could not imagine life without you and I cannot wait to be your wife!!! @freddiefreeman5."
Fast forward 10 years and the couple has been through ups and downs life has thrown their way together. Their son Max was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome in July 2024. The couple held strong and their son is now on the path to recovery.
