Freddie Freeman and his wife Chelsea had other plans for the weekend than to attend the 82nd edition of the Golden Globes award at The Beverly Hilton on Sunday in Beverly Hills, California.
The couple are coming off a hectic season that included Freddie Freeman winning his second World Series with the LA Dodgers and their son Maximus entering remission following his diagnosis of Guillan Barre syndrome in August.
The Freeman family chose to spend their weekend in a fun retreat with their three sons - Charlie, Brandon and Max. On Sunday, Chelsea shared a series of photos from their getaway.
In one of the photos, Chelsea posed alongside her eldest son, Charlie, and the family dog, captioning it:
"Had the best weekend trip."
Another story featured the beautiful outdoor scenery of mountains and a well-manicured golf course, with one of the boys having a splash in the pool, aptly titled:
"Charlie’s 🌍"
The family fun didn’t end there — another highlight was the kids' excitement about making their own blizzards at a dessert station. Chelsea humorously noted:
"The boys were obsessed with your own blizzards."
The weekend wrapped up with a family meal at a scenic restaurant, where all three boys gathered around the table, with Chelsea jokingly writing:
"Charlie 8 going on 18 with that face."
Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea gets "FOMO" upon missing Golden Globes Award
Several of Freddie Freeman's teammates and their partners, including Dodgers catcher Will Smith and his wife Cara, were in town to attend the 82nd edition of Golden Globes award on Sunday.
Seeing her social media feed buzzing with the outfits of her friends, Chelsea got the "FOMO," which is a short form for "Fear of Missing Out." She shared a throwback picture of the Freeman couple from last year's event, writing:
"Last year @goldenglobes was such a blast! We took the kids on the best weekend trip so couldn’t make it work this year. But I now have FOMO. Everyone’s pics are 😍"
Nonetheless, Chelsea still had a great weekend. Instead of dazzling on the red carpet, she chose to create memories with her family instead.
