Freddie Freeman's family experienced a year filled with highs and lows. After the All-Star break, Freeman's son, Maximus, caught an infection which was later diagnosed to be a rare neurological condition, Guillain-Barré syndrome. This rendered his son to be hospitalized for eight days following which he is now on a path to recovery.
However, on the field, the first baseman led the LA Dodgers to their eighth World Series title, homering in the first four games and winning the MVP of the series.
Now in the offseason, the family is cherishing their time together. On Sunday, Freeman's wife Chelsea posted a reel on Instagram from their sons Brandon and Maximus' first trip to the iconic Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
It started with a photo from the car followed by the first roller coaster rides and meeting the Mickey Mouse character at the park.
"Disney day! The kids had the best time and Brandon and Max got to ride their first rollercoasters🥰🎢✨ Thank you @DisneyParks @Disneyland #Disneyland" Chelsea wrote in her caption.
In the reel, Max can be seen walking while holding Freddie's hand.
