Amy Cole, wife of New York Yankees pitching ace Gerrit Cole, attended the birthday party of one of her friends on Saturday. Cole, who likes to keep her 64K Instagram followers up to date with her life, took the chance to show her fashion sense on her friend's special day.

Cole wore an all-black outfit that she paired with black high-heeled boots. Cole and her friends posed for pictures, which she shared on her IG stories.

With January just over its mid-point, Amy and Gerrit Cole are still in the MLB offseason. The couple are fresh off a special Christmas, which they spent with their children, Caden and Everett. On Christmas Day, Amy Cole took to Instagram to share a post with pictures of the Coles:

"Merry Christmas! 💌🎄❄️."

Gerrit Cole's wife Amy shared wholesome post after her brother Brandon Crawford retired from the MLB

Amy and Gerrit Cole met while attending UCLA, where Amy was a softball player for the UCLA Bruins. Amy is the sister of now-former MLB shortstop Brandon Crawford, who played for the San Francisco Giants for 13 seasons before spending 2024 at the St. Louis Cardinals.

Crawford, a two-time World Series champion and a three-time All-Star, announced his retirement from baseball in November. Amy Cole was quick to react to his retirement on Instagram, sharing throwback pictures and videos. Amy included the caption:

"From t-ball and backyard games to chasing big-league dreams, it’s been an honor to watch you play the game you love. Proud of you, @therealbcraw35- congrats on an incredible career!"

Meanwhile, Amy's husband Gerrit Cole is still active in the MLB and looking forward to the 2025 season with the New York Yankees. While Cole almost departed from the franchise, he is set to return as the Yankees look to go one further than their World Series defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cole triggered a contractual opt-out in early November, but he and the franchise agreed to revert to their original agreement, which will see him earn $144 million over the next four seasons.

It will be interesting to see if Cole can recover his best form in 2025, which we saw flashes of last campaign. Cole didn't make his 2024 season debut until June due to an elbow injury and will be looking to improve on his 8-5 campaign, which saw him record a 3.41 ERA across 17 games.
