Toronto Blue Jays v New York Yankees
Giants vs Yankees MLB Opening Day Live

The Giants vs Yankees MLB game will be one of the biggest Opening Day games this year. Not only does it feature a matchup of two aces in Gerritt Cole and Logan Webb, but it also features a fun fact from this offseason.

The San Francisco Giants nearly landed Aaron Judge in free agency. In fact, for about 15 minutes, a report circulated that they had signed him. Judge ultimately turned them down to return to the New York Yankees, but the game on Thursday could have looked very different.

Nevertheless, it will be a great matchup between playoff hopefuls trying to get off on the right foot. The Yankees want to return to the World Series, and the Giants need to make the postseason.

Watching Giants vs Yankees MLB on Opening Day

As usual, the Yankees will be on YES Network. Michael Kay and the YES crew will call the game like they do for the vast majority of Yankee games every season. Local television in New York will have the channel, but out-of-market TV packages may also include it.
