Alex Bregman's season may have ended on a disappointing note with the Houston Astros crashing out of the wild card round after winning the AL West in the regular season. However, in the offseason, his family announced the arrival of his second son in 2025 through social media.
Bregman, who completed his final year of the contract with the Astros, will enter free agency this offseason with his agent Scott Boras trying to get him the best deal. Whether or not Houston brings him back will remain to be seen, but there's a good chance he'll get a multiyear contract out of it.
With the offseason starting a little earlier than the Bregman family is used to, Alex and his wife Reagan took their son Knox to Disneyland Resort, known as the "Happiest Place on Earth," situated in Anaheim, California, over the weekend.
Reagan shared glimpses of their time there on Tuesday. In the first image uploaded, Knox is walking toward the "El CapiTOON" theater, which houses the "Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway" attraction in Disneyland. The caption reads "best weekend ever!!!" with a location tag for Disneyland.
The second image shows Reagan holding a Mickey-shaped snack made with colorful M&Ms. The background shows Disneyland Park, with the caption
"I see why they call it the happiest place on earth."
Alex Bregman's son Knox has his pick from in-flight snacks
Alex Bregman's son Knox loves playing baseball and eating snacks, especially chocolates. While his love for baseball is no secret, his love for cravings was highlighted by his mother Reagan who shared a snap as they boarded a flight to California.
In the image shared, Knox is picking from a variety of snacks, including chips, chocolates, and energy bars.
"Alllll the snacks we can't travel without this now," Reagan wrote in her story.
Last week, the couple, through a social media video encapsulating their journey so far, announced that the family's expecting Knox's brother to arrive in 2025.
"Little Brother coming 2025," the couple wrote in caption.
With the family expanding, Alex Bregman faces an important decision for his career and his family too. For the first time in his career, they might have to depart Houston if the Astros don't re-sign him.
