Aaron Judge was impressed with the New York Yankees' front-office work ahead of the trade deadline. The team has brought in reinforcements in the form of Jazz Chisholm Jr., a versatile infielder with both the power and running game.

After Monday's dominant win over the Philadelphia Phillies, where Chisholm Jr. showed his hitting prowess, Judge had nothing but praise for the outfielder in his post-game presser.

"It's impressive, man. It's, it's fun to watch. He's, he's electric. He's excited to be here. He's having fun. So he's definitely making a big impact so far," Judge said.

When asked about his thoughts on the upcoming trade deadline and how other teams are making moves, Judge replied:

"So hopefully we start making moves, too. We'll see."

Jazz Chisholm Jr. hits homer using Aaron Judge's bat and says he'll never use it again

On Monday, the Yankees offense crushed baseball's best team, the Philadelphia Phillies, 14-4. Aaron Judge was his usual self, smoking two home runs in the win, while the newly acquired Jazz Chisholm Jr., in just his second game, also blasted two home runs, one of which came from Judge's bat.

During the ninth inning of the game, Chisholm Jr. borrowed Judge's bat to crush a home run against Garrett Stubbs. After hitting the home run, Chisholm Jr. showed off Aaron Judge's bat in the dugout for the cameras.

“I think I get a half a homer for that one,” Judge said after the game. “39 1/2. I’ll take it.
“Definitely not going to use that again tomorrow,” Chisholm said post game. “That bat was so heavy. I don’t think I ever got a hit against a position player until tonight. I was like, ‘You know what, Cap? I’m either going to go up there right handed or I’m going to use your bat.’ He’s like, ‘Go ahead, use the bat.’ It just worked.”

He also homered off Zack Wheeler in his first at-bat of the day. If early signs are anything to go by, Jazz Chisholm Jr. seems to be fired up in a Yankees jersey. He also brings in a lot and NY can use him all around the field, an added bonus on top of his baserunning and power-hitting abilities.
