Former LA Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer hasn't pitched in the major leagues since receiving a record suspension for violating MLB’s domestic violence policy. Bauer was accused of sexual assault for the first time by Lindsey Hill in 2021. She applied for a restraining order against the then-Dodgers pitcher for alleged violence during their sexual encounter.
Although Hill's accusations and the pitcher's counter-lawsuit were settled in 2023 without the exchange of money, Hill has continued to make her case against Bauer via her X, formerly Twitter, account. In a post shared on Sunday, Hill reshared the pictures from her encounter with Bauer in May 2021, reiterating her accusations of assault against the former Cy Young winner:
"Trevor Bauer is not a victim. He is a violent abuser who has hospitalized multiple women. Pass it on."

Hill's post was seemingly in response to Trevor Bauer's comments in which he claimed to be a "victim" after the Pittsburgh Pirates signed Domingo German despite his controversial past:
"The only person who has been deemed a “victim” in this entire debacle is me. Let that sink in."
Following the lengthy MLB suspension of 324 games, which was later reduced to 194 games, the Dodgers released Bauer in January 2023. He then signed with Yokohama DeNA BayStars of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) on a one-year deal in March 2023. He is currently playing in the Mexican league with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico.
Trevor Bauer's continued campaigns for MLB return ignored by teams
Trevor Bauer elected free agency in the offseason after a year of baseball in Japan, hoping for a return to the major league. However, despite the lawsuit being settled with no charges, MLB teams refrained from offering a contract to Bauer.
The All-Star pitcher even agreed to take a salary cut in order to make a lucrative case for MLB teams in need of arms in their rotation. However, the league continues to ignore Bauer's campaigns.
Trevor Bauer was seemingly upset after the Pirates offered a deal to controversial pitcher Domingo German earlier this month. German was also suspended by MLB for violating the league’s domestic violence policy in 2019. Bauer did not like the fact that a major league team was ready to gamble on German but not him, despite his ongoing efforts to return to MLB.
