One of the most talked about features in the game is the possibility of creating your own roster by adding a bunch of different players to a single team. Here you will learn how to create your own rosters on MLB The Show 23.

Before being able to play franchise mode with a custom roster or team, it's important to select the players you wish to move to your custom team.

To do so, players must click on the "create" button on the top right of the home panel and press "roster control". Once in the "roster control" panel, you must search for each player you wish to move to your custom team and select them for the "Free Agent Pool".

Once all players have been added to the "Free Agent Pool", it’s time to load all changes to the game so that you can start adding them to your custom team. Click on "settings" > "file management" > "load" > "rosters" > "saved rosters".

After selecting all the players you wish to play for your custom team, you must add these players to your created team or any existing MLB team. To do that, go back to "create" > "roster control" > select any team > "player movement" > select any player from the chosen MLB franchise, and "trade" them for any player from the "Free Agent Pool".

Note that every player you select to "trade" for the free agent will leave your roster. Repeat that until you have added all the desired players to your roster. Make sure you do that before starting your "franchise mode".

Now it’s time to start your franchise mode with the new custom team. To do so, hit "franchise" on the home panel > "new franchise" > select the team you have modified > "use custom team" > "load existing custom team".

Once you have selected the team you wish to play your franchise mode with, it will load the pre-customized roster for the game. You can now play MLB The Show 23 with your newly improved roster.
