This is not the only way to get free MLB.TV, though. College students can get the service for free, too.

All they need to do is follow these steps:

2. Click "GET MLB.TV FREE" button.
3. Login or register with a free MLB account.
4. Verify student credentials with ID.me.
5. Use the MLB account to watch.

Unfortunately, those are the only two ways to get the free subscription, and one of them isn't even technically free.
