In previous years, T-Mobile MLB.TV was free. As long as users had an active line, they could get the incredible baseball streaming service for free. Initially, it was revealed that that promotion was no longer going to be active. T-Mobile users would have to find another way to get the service.
However, the company recently confirmed that the T-Mobile MLB.TV free subscription is active once more.
They said about the promotion:
"Save and redeem in the T-Mobile Tuesdays app by April 4, 2023, at 4:59 a.m. ET and sign up for MLB.TV between March 28, 2023, at 5:00 a.m. ET and April 4, 2023, 4:59 a.m. ET to receive a free subscription to MLB.TV for the 2023 season. Limited-time offer, subject to change. Only for T-Mobile, Sprint and Metro by T-Mobile customers on qualifying plans who have T-Mobile Tuesdays."
This is not the only way to get free MLB.TV, though. College students can get the service for free, too.
All they need to do is follow these steps:
- Visit this website.
- Click "GET MLB.TV FREE" button.
- Login or register with a free MLB account.
- Verify student credentials with ID.me.
- Use the MLB account to watch.
Unfortunately, those are the only two ways to get the free subscription, and one of them isn't even technically free.
T-Mobile MLB.TV: How can I get the service without T-Mobile?
Without T-Mobile or a college ID, the price for MLB.TV can get expensive. Here are the options:
- $149 a year
- $24.99 a month (translates to almost $150 a year)
- $129.99 for a single team
However, there is almost always one free game per day, and sometimes they do an entire weekend of free games.
