"I have a crush on the coach" - Brandon Crawford's wife Jalynne swoons over former Giants shortstop mentoring young athletes

Brandon Crawford is a former Major League Baseball player who recently retired after 14 seasons in the league. Crawford is married to Jalynne Dantzscher and the couple has been together since 2011. Crawford met Dantzscher at UCLA where he was starring on the baseball diamond and she was competing on the gymnastics team.

Now that Brandon Crawford is retired from Major League Baseball, he will have plenty of time to spend at home with his large family. Brandon and Jalynne have five children together, and the former MLB infielder is now trying to help his sons follow in his athletic footsteps.

On Sunday, Jan. 26, Jalynne Crawford shared several short videos to her Instagram story. These had Crawford coaching a youth football team. Even though he is known for his work on the baseball diamond, the former shortstop also has a background in football.

Jalynne let all of her Instagram followers know that she wasn't just watching the young athletes play football, but also swooning over her husband.

"I have a crush on the coach," she wrote on the picture.

Crawford spent the final season of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals and saw limited playing time in 2024. He won two World Series titles with the San Francisco Giants and was a three-time All-Star in the National League.

It was a tough decision for Brandon Crawford to retire at the end of his 2024 season, but one that his wife supported.

Crawford needed to spend more time at home with his five children, but his wife Jalynne highlighted his career on Instagram after the announcement was made.

The spouse of any professional athlete also bears the heavy burden of looking after the house and kids in the athlete's absence. Now that, he is retired, perhaps Crawford can give more time to his family.
