Los Angeles Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow is having a season to remember for the National League West leaders and is gearing up for a deep run in the postseason. However, the same could not be said about his former teammate Miguel Vargas.

The Cuban, who signed with the Dodgers as an international free agent in 2017, was traded to the Chicago White Sox in a three-team trade for Michael Kopech ahead of the trade deadline last month.

The White Sox are by far the worst team in baseball so far this season and a devastated Vargas' picture after the Sox's record-shattering 21st consecutive loss in Oakland went viral earlier this month. It is now the record for most consecutive losses by a team in AL history.

During a conversation with Chris Rose on the "Rose Rotation" podcast on Sunday, Tyler Glasnow reacted to the viral picture, feeling sorry for his former Dodgers teammate:

"I don't mean to laugh, but I feel so bad for him," Glasnow said. "This is such a crazy video. I remember seeing this and being like damn! because hee is the man. I love that guy. He's got the best personality ever. One of the funniest people I've ever played with. I loved having him around and then seeing this. That sucks."

Tyler Glasnow reflects on mood of being on a losing team

While Glasnow and the Dodgers currently lead the NL West and are one of the favorites to make their way through to the World Series, the White Sox are on pace to break the record for the worst record in MLB history. They currently hold a 29-91 record and on current form, could break the 1962 New York Mets' record of 120 defeats in a season:

"Life in baseball in general is so much better when you're on a winning team," Glasnow added. "Being on a losing team sucks. ...Winning cures everything and losing is like a disease that comes in and puts everyone in a bad mood."

Tyler Glansow went seven innings deep in the series finale against the Pittsburg Pirates on Sunday as the Dodgers eked out a 6-5 win to sweep the Pirates. Glasnow allowed two runs over five hits in a solid outing while fanning four hitters.
