"Everything started when I was in the minor leagues. Just to get myself comfortable, to feel that the box is mine, and that's how I started doing it," Juan Soto said.
Soto further said he wanted to get his feet right and feel comfortable in the box. The 'shuffle' soon became the slugger's signature move.
"Clean it up a little bit here and there, get everything settled, get my feet right, and whenever I started doing it, the boys were like, 'Hey, why are you doing that?' I just want to feel comfortable, I wanna make that box mine," Soto said.
