Trevor Bauer has pitched himself to the Los Angeles Dodgers as Tyler Glasnow's replacement. Cody Snavely of DodgersBeat recently raised concerns about Glasnow nearing his career high in innings pitched and his depreciating performance.

Glasnow has pitched 110 innings this season and the results were evident in the game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Thus, many pundits are wondering whether the Dodgers need to look for an alternative starting pitcher.

Snavely believes consistency is an issue for Glasnow as "he hasn't looked sharp in his last few starts." Moreover, the journalist added that the Dodgers need the pitcher to be at his best during the fall classic.

Replying to Snavely's post, Trevor Bauer pitched for himself as a replacement.

"I know someone who will play for minimum," Trevor Bauer wrote.

As of now, Bauer is not playing for any major league team, especially after he was laid off by the Dodgers back in January 2023 due to a 'fraudulent' sexual assault and battery lawsuit against him.

He wishes to be the supporting hand for Tyler Glasnow and his former team, once again.

Trevor Bauer is marking his legacy in the Mexican league

Former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer continues his impressive run in the Mexican League (LMB) with the Diablos Rojos. With an 8-0 record, Bauer has also cemented his place in LMB history by setting two records, most strikeouts in a single game (19) and most consecutive strikeouts (9).

He broke the most recent record against the Guerreros de Oaxaca. Bauer struck out a staggering 19 batters, allowing only 5 hits and 1 run in 8.2 innings pitched, and narrowly missed a complete game. Right after the game, he talked about his feat with TJ Sports USA.

"I'm very passionate about doing things that no one's done before, and I strive to be the best at what I do. And that's kind of what drives me to do all the hard work, and so doing something like this, tonight's a very special moment for me," Bauer said.

This follows a successful stint in Japan last season, where he secured the June MVP award with a 2.76 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 130.2 innings pitched.

While Bauer's future in Major League Baseball remains uncertain, his performance in the LMB has solidified his status as a dominant pitcher.
