Vinnie Pasquantino did not make the All-Star Game, so he got the chance to relax over the break. However, that's not what the Kansas City Royals player did. Instead, he did a workout that was more strenuous than he would have anticipated.

Pasquantino said on "The Chris Rose Rotation" podcast:

"You know what I did during the break? ... I went to a women's workout in Kansas City... It was in a hot room and it was 45 minutes... the power of sculpt or something... I thought I was in a pool after that workout because I was sweating so much. It was insane."

He said hardly anyone recognized him except one woman on his way out. Ironically, he only had a Kansas City-themed shirt to work out in, but no one picked up on the fact that he plays for the team. Pasquantino has hit .270 this year with 17 home runs and 84 RBI for 1.5 bWAR.

Vinnie Pasquantino shares hilarious workout story

The women's workout that had Pasquantino dripping with sweat was not the only funny story he shared about exercise on the podcast. The Kansas City Royals star also had an interaction with a gym employee.

He went to work out in Kansas City gear representing the hometown team. An employee tried to convince Pasquantino to use the gym moving forward:

"I had a guest pass, and the guy at the front didn't recognize me. And he was like, he's trying to sell me on the gym. 'Where do you normally work out?' And I kind of deadpanned and was like, 'Kauffman Stadium.' Which was like super awkward. He ended up apologizing to me later, and I apologized to him. I didn't mean to be a d**k, I just didn't know what to say."

Rose said while it may have missed the mark, Pasquantino's comment was accurate. The star baseball player works out at the K and plays professional baseball there, too.
