Alex Rodriguez has long admired the New York Yankees' captain Aaron Judge. Since Judge's eye-popping rookie season, A-Rod has often complimented the slugger.

Ahead of the 2019 season, Rodriguez was seen promoting the league in London. He and the league were setting the stage for MLB's first-ever London Series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

A-Rod sat down with The Guardians' Nick Miller to help promote the game, selling Miller and his audience on Judge's elite nature. In doing so, Rodriguez compared him to a "Game of Thrones" character.

"We have to lead with our best players and start telling stories. Aaron Judge is the one who jumps out of the screen because he's like a Game of Thrones character," said Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is not lying. Judge is one of the biggest players in the league. He could have certainly stood in as a fearsome warrior in the HBO hit series.

"This guy is 280 pounds, he's 6ft 7in, he's under 10% body fat and he has an over 30-inch vertical jump. He will make baseballs look like golf balls. He's this beautiful man, who's big and strong and smart. If you can't sell him, you can't sell anyone" said Alex Rodriguez.

The 2019 London Series was a two-game series between the Yankees and the Red Sox on June 29 and 30. It marked the first MLB contest to be played in the United Kingdom.

Both Alex Rodriguez and the rest of the fans watching saw nothing but fireworks. Both teams put on a scoring display, combining for 50 runs during the two-day event.

During the first game, the Yanks got the better of the Red Sox, beating them by a score of 17-13. Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, and two runs batted in.

During the second game, the Bronx Bombers were able to keep up the momentum and take home another victory. They beat Boston 12-8 taking two games from their rivals and going undefeated in Europe.

Judge did not have a home run in this one, going just 1-for-2 with three walks and a strikeout. However, his team was able to capitalize with runners on base, especially in the seventh inning, putting up nine runs.
