Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman had a perfect way following his Sunday heroics against the Baltimore Orioles, taking his wife Reagan on a "dream" birthday getaway as she turned 30 on Monday.
Bregman homered in the Astros' 6-3 win over the Orioles at Camden Yards. Reagan and the couple's son, Knox, were at the stadium cheering on for the third baseman who has been on a tear recently.
"Happy 30th birthday to the best wife and mom! @reaganelizabeth," Bregman wrote in the caption.
After the game, on Monday morning, Reagan posted snaps from their scenic getaway near a beach, referring to the experience as "a dream." In the last photo, she was seen on a yacht, suggesting how the couple chose to celebrate the day.
Alex Bregman and Reagan engaged in January 2020 and tied the knot in December the same year. Two years later, they welcomed their son, Knox Samuels, in August 2022.
Alex Bregman and family visit Tennessee during MLB All-Star break
The baseball schedule is grueling, so for players to spend time with their families and loved ones is a hectic task.
Bregman wasn't selected to this year's All-Star game after a slow start to the season. But it gave him the opportunity to take his family for a getaway to Tennessee in a resort to spend quality time.
The duo and their toddler son Knox enjoyed playing golf, exploring nature and enjoying the delicious meal at the resort. Reagan shared the family's getaway on social media.
"a couple days in paradise 🎣🌳🏌🏼♀️⛵️" she wrote in the caption.
On the field, Alex Bregman has turned his season around after subpar hitting in the first two months. Since the MLB All-Star break, the third baseman has hit .270 with 33 hits, nine home runs and 14 RBIs in 29 games.
His contract with the Astros ends this year, so he will be a free agent next offseason, with Scott Boras negotiating deals on his behalf.
