Since his retirement from the big leagues, New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez has successfully transitioned into the world of business. He owns stakes in sports franchises such as the Minnesota Timberwolves and their WNBA counterpart the Minnesota Lynx. Naturally, tending to respective businesses, he has quite a packed daily schedule.

However, he still makes time for his girlfriend and fitness expert Jaclyn Cordeiro.

One such event took place on Tuesday, as A-Rod was inducted into The Latin American Baseball Hall of Fame. The event took place in the Dominican Republic, and the couple made the trip via a private jet. Cordeiro took to Instagram to post a snap with her boyfriend on his big day.

Alex Rodriguez "honored" at being inducted into The Latin American Baseball Hall of Fame

On Tuesday night, Alex Rodriguez, Johan Santana, Alfonso Soriano, Felix Hernandez and Andruw Jones were inducted into The Latin American Baseball Hall of Fame. After the event, A-Rod took to Instagram to post a video message for his fans, expressing his appreciation for being recognized as one of the greats of the game.

Often regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time, it is safe to say that Rodriguez's induction is very much merited. In his 22 years in the big leagues, Alex Rodriguez represented the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees. He hit 696 home runs, maintaining a .295 batting average for his career as a whole.

To say that he had a decorated career would be an understatement, as the shortstop earned 14 All-Star caps, 10 Silver Slugger awards, two Gold Glove awards, was named the AL MVP three times, and won a World Series with the Yankees in 2009.
