Alex Rodriguez's girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, had a lovely weekend getaway as she plunged into a swimming pool rocking a chic cheetah-printed swimsuit. Rodriguez and Cordeiro, along with A-Rod's family members, have just returned from a fun-filled summer trip to Europe, where they spent some quality time along the Mediterranean coast.

Cordeiro took to her Instagram account to post a story of her latest weekend getaway at a resort after a busy week of work and her tireless gym routine. She captioned her Instagram stories as:

"It's the weekend. Going in head first."

"Take time to create more dopamine."

Cordeiro is a self-professed fitness model and instructor. She hails from Windsor, Canada, and has achieved educational qualifications in Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and honors in nursing from the University of Windsor.

Cordeiro's most famous fitness program online is JACFIT, a six-week high-intensity workout program that allows her clients to start shedding extra pounds and aim for a healthier lifestyle.

Her allegiance toward staying fit and her conscious efforts toward spreading this positive message are what drove Rodriguez toward her, who was in need of starting to practice a healthier lifestyle himself.

After Cordeiro helped Alex Rodriguez shed some extra pounds, A-Rod spoke about their relationship in an interview with the New York Post in April, saying:

"Everything’s been going good [with us]. Thank God. She’s been a good influence with me. I’ve been working hard and trying to stay in shape, and continuing to try to copy some of her great work ethic and health and wellness practices."

Continuing on the same note, he added:

"Just being consistent, which is what I’ve learned from her, has been very helpful. I’ve been training seven days a week. I’ve eliminated a lot of the steak. And then I do these 45-minute walks after dinner."
