Former Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez spread Christmas cheers among the hearts of young children with his 17th annual toy drive in Miami on Tuesday. His company A-Rod Corporation teamed up with the local Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami Dade at Miami Dade's Hank Kline Club in South Florida.
Alex Rodriguez along with his company employees and his elder daughter Natasha, met with the kids present at the club and gave away age-appropriate gifts to them. Children aged between 5 to 17 participated in the toy drive, which was followed by a Holiday party.
A-Rod took to social media to share highlights from the successful event with the captions:

"With special guest @thenatasharodriguez ❤️"
Speaking about the annual toy drive in a media interview, Alex Rodriguez said:
"I was one of these kids, and there wasn’t a lot presents under my tree when I was 10, 11, 12 years old, so the fact they all walk away with a nice gift, something they feel proud and ownership, that’s winning."
Rodriguez was captured with Santa Claus on the premises, his daughter Natasha, his employees, and the kids who turned up for the event, and he was also seen chatting with their parents. A-Rod has successfully transitioned into a full-fledged businessman since retiring from the MLB in 2016.
With A-Rod Corp, he has diversified his investments by investing money in various businesses across varied industries. Rodriguez founded the holding company in 1996 which began investing in 2003. He is also the founder of two real estate firms, Newport Property Construction (2008), and Monument Capital Management (2012).
