In photos: Andrew McCutchen and wife Maria turn heads in velvety brown & glittery green dress at a cozy Christmas party with friends

Andrew McCutchen and Maria, who have been married since 2014, love to celebrate holidays. Just a few weeks ago, the couple celebrated Thanksgiving Day with their family.

With Christmas nearing, the couple decided to throw a party inviting their close friends and relatives to their home. On Tuesday, McCutchen's wife Maria shared a series of photos from their party, including one where they posed in the backdrop of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Maria wore a strapless mini-dress covered in green sequins. She accessorized with a delicate necklace, bracelet, neutral-toned high heels and a small green clutch bag. Meanwhile, McCutchen was dressed in a brown velvet shirt on top of black trousers and white sneakers. He accessorized it with a watch and bracelets.

In one photo, Maria was snapped with her girl gang in a group photo.

"Holiday fancy🎄💫🍸" she wrote in the caption.

Maria celebrates Thanksgiving Day with family, hails Andrew McCutchen and her 10-year relationship

On the occasion of Thanksgiving Day, Maria shared a candid picture of her family where her four kids can be seen enjoying themselves while proud McCutchens have a big smile on their faces. She also shared a heartfelt Thanksgiving note:

"This thanksgiving I’m especially thankful for my husband," she wrote in her caption. "We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary last Friday and it was just the best day. I’m so proud of what we’ve built together in the last 10 years. but I’m most proud of the love we share and the fun we have. The best years of my life have been with you and because of you, Andrew. I love you."

Andrew McCutchen may have played his final season in the majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2024, the franchise with which he's closely associated since 2009. According to MLB.com's Alex Stumpf, McCutchen wants to keep playing in 2025.

“Andrew McCutchen confirmed that he wants to keep playing in 2025,” Stumpf said. “I asked what still drives him to return. ‘Because I can do it. Just plain and simple… If I don’t embarrass myself, then I’m going to continue to keep going and doing it. If I get the opportunity, I’m going to.'”

The five-time All-Star won the NL MVP in 2013 and has also won four Silver Slugger Awards.

Maria and Andrew McCutchen have four kids. Their first child, Steel, was born on Nov. 27, 2017. Armani was born on December 24, 2019. Avé was born on October 25, 2021. On March 9, the couple welcomed their daughter, Italia Maria.
