In Photos: Bryce Harper's wife Kayla documents wholesome moments from scenic family getaway in Seattle

Bryce Harper spent quality time with his family on a Seattle trip recently. This was before his team, the Philadelphia Phillies, lost 2-10 to the Settle Mariners, the AL West’s second-best team (58-23 record) at T-Mobile Park on Friday.

Harper found it to be a perfect time to bring his family for a sightseeing tour. His wife, Kayla Harper, shared photos of her and three children, son Krew and daughters Brooklyn and Kamryn, on Instagram. They seemed to be enjoying the trip to Seattle’s mountains, far from their usual fast-paced city life.

The mesmerizing wonders of nature were perfectly captured in the photos of Kayla when she candidly captured her kids enjoying a fountain’s water. Meanwhile, the couple snapped photos with their newly welcomed daughter, Kamryn (born in April 2024).

Kayla, being a cautious mother, put emojis in all her kids’ photos before uploading. Although the family trip might have lightened the mood for Phillies All-Star Harper, it didn’t improve his performance, which has been off since the Yankees series.

Bryce Harper went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts against the Mariners in the series opener. He also failed to contribute in all three games during the New York series at Citizens Bank Park, making his current batting average at .271 with an OPS of .900. In his last five games, he went 0-for-21 without any runs or RBIs.

Time is a little unfavorable for him right now, but the 2024 All-Star knows what he is capable of, as the Phillies lead the NL East Division (65-44) in the pennant race.

Bryce Harper is a family man

Despite his busy game schedule and back-and-fourth journeys between the US cities, Harper always makes time for his family. Be it the daddy-daughter moment in Riley Green’s concert, when Harper matched steps with elder daughter Brooklyn in the post-game music concert.

“Followed by some postgame daddy daughter dancing,” Kayla shared on her Instagram.

It's clear that Harper always makes sure to spend time with his family in between games and seasons.

“Hey y’all 🤠,” Kayla posted a family photo in Arlington before the All-Star game.

The Phillies will face the Mariners on Saturday in the second game of the series, hoping to break their five-game losing streak and get the first win of August.
