Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager was in California to play a three-game series against the Angels. Ahead of Wednesday's game, Seager and his wife, Madisyn, took a morning stroll on the shores of California Beach.
Madisyn shared photos from their walk in Laguna Niguel, California, where she snapped Sneaker in black shorts and grey overs.
"Morning coffee walks by the beach with my guy every morning >," she wrote in her story.
The other night, Madisyn shared that the shortstop bought him an ice cream-filled donut which made her feel special.
"Also Corey brought me this ice-cream filled donut (all dairy free) last night on the bus and I've never felt more loved in my life," Madisyn wrote in her story.
Corey Seager and Madisyn met during their time at a high school in North Carolina. Both dated for a few years before going their separate ways. However, ultimately both got back together, as Seager proposed Madisyn in a football game involving Tom Brady in December 2019. The two got married a year later.
Corey Seager's wife reflected on their time in LA before moving to Dallas-Fort Worth area
Before Corey Seager signed a 10-year, $325 million deal with the Texas Rangers in December 2021, he was already an established player in LA, playing for the Dodgers, who picked him 18th overall in the 2012 MLB draft. He made his debut in September 2015 and the following season, he won the NL Rookie of the Year.
Seager also helped land the Dodgers their first World Series in a while in 2020 against the Tampa Bay Rays, in which he was named World Series MVP.
Upon signing with the Rangers, the couple had to leave LA, as Madisyn posted a heartfelt farewell message for the city they spent seven years in.
“LA, we spent almost 7 years of our life here,” she wrote on Instagram in December 2021, alongside personal photos with Corey and their friends.
“You will always hold a special place in our hearts… we went from dating to marriage. Core went from ROY to WS MVP. We experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows. Along the way we made so many memories & even more friends that turned family."
Even with the new franchise, Seager won the World Series MVP crown again as he helped the Rangers win it in 2023.
