The LA Dodgers duo of Will Smith and James Outman will become parents with their better halves, Cara and Dasha, respectively, soon. The Dodger wives decided to throw an in-house baby shower party for two of their beloved members who are expecting.
On Tuesday, photos and glimpses from the event were shared on Instagram. The theme of the party was "On Cloud 9," as the group celebrated the two soon-to-be mothers with a moon-shaped cake.
James Outman and Dasha to become parents for the first time
Earlier in April, James Outman and his wife, Dasha, announced their pregnancy through social media. The couple posted a photo where Dasha can be seen holding a sonogram.
Dasha Outman (nee Kraft) is from Kharkiv, Ukraine, and came to the U.S. to pursue education in 2008. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in business management with a specialization in real estate from Menlo College.
She first met and started dating Outman in 2013. The following year, the couple went public with their relationship. Two years ago, the pair got engaged, and in December of the same year, they tied the knot with each other.
On the baseball front, James Outman is having a down year, with him only hitting .153 including three home runs and 10 RBIs.
Will Smith and Cara will become parents for second time
Will Smith and Cara left everyone surprised on the MLB All-Star's red carpet. Cara flaunted her baby bump with her glittering bronze attire while pairing with the Dodgers catcher, who was in a light-toned suit. Their daughter Charlotte accompanied them.
Will Smith and Cara Martinell know each other from their days at the University of Louisville in 2015. After dating for four years, the duo got engaged in December 2019 and married the following year.
In October 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, Charlotte. Now the household will soon add another member.
This is not the only news the Smith family is having. Earlier in March, the Dodgers extended Will Smith to a 10-year contract worth $140 million.
