Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman is enjoying the offseason with his family, embracing the holiday season after a historic World Series-winning campaign with the NL West team. Freddie Freeman won his second World Series ring and was named the World Series MVP after hitting a home run in four consecutive Fall Classic games against the New York Yankees.
It's time for relaxation in the Freeman household after a tough year. Freddie's wife Chelsea shared adorable pictures of their youngest of three sons, Max, teaming up with their pet cat Champ.
In Chelsea's Instagram stories, Champ can be seen drinking water from a fountain. Chelsea captioned the story:
"Champ loves his new water fountain."
The following story had a picture of Max brushing his teeth while Champ stood beside him, lunging over the counter to take a peek.
"Champ ready to brush his teeth with Max," Chelsea captioned the story.
Freddie Freeman's eldest son Charlie asked the World Series MVP if he could adopt a kitten over FaceTime just three days after the Dodgers' World Series triumph. The Freeman family adopted Champ from The Stray Cat Alliance and Chelsea shared the story via an Instagram post on Nov. 11.
"Meet “Champ” … because why not adopt a kitten 3 days after the World Series 🤭. Freddie took a nap and woke up to a FaceTime from Charlie asking if he could get a cat 😁," Chelsea wrote.
Freddie Freeman and wife Chelsea enjoy holiday season with sons
After a historic season with the Dodgers, Freddie Freeman and Chelsea are enjoying the holiday season. In a recent Instagram post, Chelsea shared a hilarious Christmas decoration for her three sons.
They had an elf toy placed in the bathroom with a hilarious message that read:
"Sorry I pooped (elf poop is red and green). Please help me flush - Mr. Pickles. PS - Santa is so happy that Max is doing so good," the message with the toy read.
Chelsea admitted that her sons would love it even though it was "gross."
The Freeman family was in a tough place a couple of months ago after Max was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. However, he has recovered significantly over the last few weeks and Chelsea shared a Thanksgiving post to acknowledge their good health and togetherness.
