In Photos: Jose Canseco's daughter Josie turns head in all-black Alo gym wear

Jose Canseco's daughter, Josie, is a model who has worked with some of the biggest brands and fashion houses in America. Just like her father took a liking to the sport of baseball from an early age, she did the same by pursuing a career in modeling and has been featured in some of the best fashion magazines globally.

Her longstanding partnership with Alo Yoga, an American athletic apparel retailer, has seen her sport some of their best lines in recent months. In her latest post on Instagram, Josie shared her look in all-black Alo gym wear while sitting in the front seat of a black sedan. She captioned her post:

"Omw @alo"

She is the daughter of Oakland Athletics legend Jose Canseco and American author Jessica Canseco.

In Jessica's memoir, "Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife," she admits that despite having constant tiffs and struggles throughout their three-year marriage period, Jessica and Jose were brought close together after the birth of their daughter in November 1996.

The couple had exchanged wedding vows just three months prior, in August 1996, in Miami, Florida, when Jose Canseco was off the Red Sox roster due to a back injury. The couple ended up filing for divorce in 1999 and settled the lawsuit in 2000.

Despite their separation, Jose Canseco and Jessica Canseco continued to nurture and care for their daughter, Josie. As she grew, Josie became a supermodel and even graced the covers of magazines like Maxim and Sports Illustrated.

Besides that, she has walked the ramp for some of the biggest fashion houses in Victoria's Secret, New York Fashion Week, and Miami Fashion Week, among many others, during her ongoing career as a famous model.

Josie reflected on her father, Jose Canseco and the problems that they faced as a family

In an exclusive interview with Maxim in 2023, Josie Canseco commented on the difficult times that she and her family had to go through as his two-time World Series champion father, Jose Canseco, went through a roller coaster life during his big league career. She said:

"I think everyone should just remember that a lot of this world is smoke and mirrors. Everyone’s family goes through their own set of issues, and sometimes when you have one side of your life in the public eye, the personal side can bleed through and make things messy. I’m grateful for my family in every way, but it’s just not all what it may seem."

Despite the topsy-turvy family dynamics, she stays close to both her parents and avidly spends time with them.
