In Photos: Josh Naylor's fiancee Chantel Collado looks back on surprise brunch with 'special people,' organized with maid of honor DJ Rosegold's help

Cleveland Guardians star Josh Naylor's fiancee, Chantel Collado, reflected on the day she gave a surprise party to her friends a year ago. The soon-to-be wife organized a special brunch for her girls with the help of her Maid of Honor, DJ Rosegold, who helped Collado with deciding the menu.

In the caption of Monday's Instagram post, she explained how she took the help of their friends/family members/husbands who made their partners think they were going for brunch with someone. However, they were to meet Collado, who had organized a special brunch at Rania's Cakes Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario.

"ONE YEAR AGO today ✨🥹🤍 I made a call to some special people to organize a brunch for my girls. Thankfully their friends/family members/husbands arranged to have them think they were going for brunch with someone else but .. SURPRISE!! They were met with ME 🥹✨🤍 we had brunch at the cutest spot ~ @ranias_cakes 💕 and they SAID YES!!!" she wrote. "Shoutout to my Maid Of Honour for making the cutest menus 🥹 @djrosegold."

The event was a surprise brunch to gather friends and ask them to join the wedding party.

The post was made to tease her upcoming wedding, where she would want her friends, namely Jamison Hanna, Stephanie Cachinel, Vanesa, Patricia Reyees, Francesca Jeanne, Wini, Cassidy, Mariceliz and her nieces, Tina and Cata, by her side.

Collado came into the spotlight after appearing on the MLB All-Star red carpet with Josh Naylor. She is a Canadian singer and has over 33,000 followers on Instagram. The pair got engaged in June 2023.

While the couple haven't revealed their wedding date yet, it seems it will take place sooner.
