Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros fell to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, which halted their six-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Verlander's wife, Kate Upton, has been having fun with Bailey McCarthy, as was seen on Instagram.
Upton and McCarthy recreated the famous pose from the 1988 hit movie "Twins," with the pair wearing all black and high heels instead of beige suits. As can be seen in Bailey McCarthy's IG post, a lot of fun was had by the pair, and it took a few takes to perfect.
While Upton and McCarthy were able to replicate Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito's poster, Justin Verlander and the Astros were unable to record a second straight win against Milwaukee. Houston will, however, get another chance in the last of the three-game series on Sunday.
Kate Upton says daughter Genevieve has "better style" than her and Justin Verlander
Speaking to PEOPLE in April, Kate Upton discussed a host of topics, including her and Justin Verlander's five-year-old daughter, Genevieve. According to Upton, the five-year-old is developing her own style, which is better than Upton's and Verlander's. Upton joked:
"She loves to get dressed with me. I think she has better style than Justin and I, so she picks out all her own clothes. And that makes me so happy, because clothes are such a creative expression of yourself, and I love that she has found that even at her age."
Upton also went into detail about Genevieve becoming her own person, as can be seen by her choices and opinions:
"She just is becoming more and more herself and I love it. I love hearing her opinions and seeing her set her own boundaries, and she's really excited about her independence in certain things, obviously within the safety of her parents, but I love watching her push her independence and find her own voice."
A lot can be said for setting boundaries in every walk of life, and it will be interesting to see if the Houston Astros can contain the Brewers on Sunday. With Houston (20-26) looking to apply pressure to the Texas Rangers (24-23) and Seattle Mariners (25-21) above them in the West, every game is important.
