Justin Verlander's wife and renowned fashion model, Kate Upton, is stepping into a different realm altogether by hosting a fashion designers show that will air on OTT on Hulu on July 23rd. The show titled 'Dress My Tour' will pit 11 contestants against each other to create looks and design stylized outfits for some of the biggest names in the music industry, as the winner takes a prize of $100,000.
In an interview with ABC Media, Upton shared some behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram account, with the caption:
"Dress My Tour premieres July 23rd on @hulu and I can’t wait for everyone to see it! These talented 11 designers compete to create looks worthy of the world’s biggest names in music!"
Kate Upton, Emmy-winning costume designer Marina Toybina, and director/choreographer Laurieann Gibson will be the three judges on the panel. The contestants would both be judged and guided by these highly experienced panelists throughout the show.
Besides these three judges, an array of guest judges will grace the show with their presence, namely French Montana, Ty Dolla Sign, Jessie James Decker, Jojo Siwa, Toni Braxton, Coi Leray, Paula Abdul, and JT.
While Kate Upton steps into uncharted territory after being on the other side of the runaway for years, her beau Justin Verlander is facing the grim picture of turning into a baseball veteran. The 41-year-old has been out injured since his last pitch on June 9 against the LA Angels.
Prior to his neck injury, Justin Verlander had missed the first 20 days since the opening day of the current campaign after sustaining an injury to his pitching elbow, which had forced him to miss spring training as well.
While the Astros ace fights to get better and rejoin the bullpen, his wife Kate Upton has provided unwavering support during these tough times. She and her daughter Genevieve have been attending most of Verlander's home starts over the years at Minute Maid Park.
Kate Upton gets anxious and nervous while watching Justin Verlander pitch in the big leagues
Chron.com shared some exclusive comments by Kate Upton as she reflected on her feelings while watching her husband Justin Verlander pitch in the big leagues. She said:
"There's a ton of anxiety. It's strange, because I have no control and that was something when we first started dating I had to get used to because in my career, I have the control. I eat the failure, whatever it is, like if I say something wrong—that's on me. But to watch someone you love out there and have no control, it was a totally new experience."
Justin and Kate exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony set in the Tuscan Hills of Italy in early November 2017, just days after Verlander claimed his maiden World Series title with the Astros.
