In the spirit of the holiday season, Gladys Arraez, wife of San Diego Padres star Luis Arraez, recently shared an adorable moment on her recent Instagram stories featuring their toddler daughter, Esthela, dressed in a full Santa Claus costume.
On Tuesday, Gladys took to her Instagram handle to share a story with her more than 52K followers. The story featured a video and picture of her and Luis' youngest daughter, Esthela, dressed up in a full Santa Claus costume. The story also included a picture of the couple's other two daughters, Emma and Esther with Esthela.
Gladys captioned the story that included Esthela in her Santa Claus costume:
"En esta casa nos portamos tan bien que ya Santa llegó🤩🤩🤩." ("In this house we behave so well that Santa already arrived 🤩🤩🤩.")
Besides the Christmas outfits of her daughters, on Dec. 1, Gladys made a post on her Instagram account regarding the arrival of the holiday month, December, while mentioning its importance. The post included several pictures of Gladys and her family. She wrote in the caption of her post:
"1 Diciembre, el mes más hermoso del año🎄🎅. Deseo para mi familia y amigos “Amor♥️ y Serenidad 🕊️ en nuestros hogares🏠 y que Dios nos colme de muchas bendiciones🙏." Gladys' recent birthday celebration and the 2024 season for Luis Arraez
Gladys Arraez recently celebrated her birthday with her husband, Luis Arraez. On Dec. 16 she took to her IG handle to share a post with her followers regarding her birthday. The post included several pictures of her in her black birthday outfit, which included black footwear.
A picture of a birthday card from her husband, Luis, and a video of a dinner table set for the special occasion with Gladys' birthday cake was shared via the IG post. Gladys captioned her post:
"Hoy es mi cumpleaños🎂 Gracias A Dios, al universo y a mi familia por tanta bendición♥️🫶🙏🙏 los Amo♥️." ("Today is my birthday 🎂 Thank you God, the universe and my family for so much blessing ♥️ 🫶 🙏 🙏 I love you ♥️.")
Apart from that, the 2024 season for Luis Arraez was a season of change, as he was traded from the Miami Marlins to the San Diego Padres mid-season. He played 33 games for the Marlins in his last season with them, where he hit .299/.347/.372.
Meanwhile, the former Marlins player played 117 games with the Padres, in which he had a batting average of .318, an on-base percentage of .346 and a slugging percentage of .398. In his first season with the Padres, he hit four homers and stole 9 bases with 41 RBIs.
It would be interesting to see what the 2025 season holds for the reigning three-time batting champion, as he is under contract with the Padres for the 2025 season.
