LA Angels star outfielder Mike Trout and his wife Jessica Cox welcomed the new member of their family on June 30, 2024. In her recent Instagram post, Jessica shared a heartwarming photoshoot of their newborn son, Jordy Michael, alongside his elder brother, Beckham Aaron Trout and his father, Mike. The happy family of four was all smiles during the photoshoot.

Take a look at the images from the family photoshoot here:

Mike Trout and Jessica Cox are high school sweethearts who crossed paths during a Spanish class. The couple even attended their senior prom together. She went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania, and also played field hockey for the LVC Dutchmen.

Trout, on the other hand, had committed to play collegiate baseball with the East Carolina Pirates but was instead selected by the LA Angels as the 25th overall pick in the 2009 MLB draft. Trout spent almost two years in the minor league before the Halos signed his contract on July 8, 2011 and since then he has become the face of the franchise.

Jessica and Mike Trout got engaged on June 28, 2016, and the couple exchanged vows amidst all their friends and family members in Allentown, New Jersey, on December 9, 2017. The duo welcomed their first son, Beckham Aaron Trout on July 30, 2020, and almost four years later, they welcomed their second son, Jordy Michael on June 30, 2024.

The happy family of four resides in Los Angeles, California, where Mike has been playing professional baseball since 2011. Trout started the current campaign in searing form but a torn meniscus injury that he suffered on his left knee during a game against the Phillies on April 29 has sidelined him for more than two months now.

Mike Trout is optimistic of making a comeback to the Angels roster by the end of July

Reflecting on the progress of the rehab on his left knee injury, which was operated on in early May, Mike Trout said:

"It's getting there. It's obviously slower than I thought, but it's my first time with a knee injury. Just trusting the process and taking it day by day."

He further added:

“I’ve talked to a lot of people that went through this. There’s going to be aches and pains when I come back. It’s going to slowly get better.”

The Angels will pray for their ace to return soon and hope that he can continue where he left off before sustaining the injury.
