Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout has always held his family close to his heart. With his wife, Jessica, they have two boys, Beckham who is four, and Jordy who was born in June.
Beckham just celebrated his fourth birthday and in style. While most kids his age would likely choose a dinosaur-themed party, the youngster wanted to hit the greens.
The Trout family, with the help of Let's Soiree, put together a golf-themed birthday party for Beckham. Given the genes he carries, we could be looking at the start of a successful PGA career.
"This is the best birthday ever!" Beckham said, as per the caption.
Beckham had his own little golf cart and everything. It did not stop there, they even put together a pro shop making things really official.
Outside of the golf theme, there was plenty of food and candy to keep the kids going. The Trout family certainly went all out for their son's fourth birthday.
Mike Trout partnered with Tiger Woods to open a New Jersey golf course
Beckham's love for golf likely came through Mike Trout's love for the game. He has been seen frequenting Top Golf during his time with the Angels, smashing golf balls like he is part of the World Long Drive competition.
Trout has a passion for golf, and he recently partnered with a golf legend to open a course in New Jersey. Trout teamed up with Tiger Woods to open the Trout National - The Reserve in 2025.
It will be an 18-hole golf course at the former Cumberland County sand mine. Construction is already underway and will be a nine-phase project.
This is not just your prototypical golf course. The project will include a clubhouse, seven private lodges and a performance center. The course will be a premium place for those in South Jersey to work on their game and play on a challenging design.
Both Woods and Trout co-designed the course with a degree of difficulty. It is a championship-level course and should test even the most consistent golfers, offering high-risk-reward opportunities.
Trout will have ample amount of time to make sure the construction of the course is going smoothly over the next few months. He will not be back in the Halos' lineup this season after suffering a second meniscus tear but should be ready by Opening Day next year.
