Baltimore Orioles prospect Jackson Holliday's first crack at MLB action might not have gone the way that he expected or anticipated. However, that does not mean that the young star does not have a bright future ahead of him or that he is not taking time to enjoy the present.

In a recent flurry of photos uploaded to her personal Instagram account, Chloe Holliday, Jackson's wife, showed off the quality time that the pair have been enjoying. Moreover, Chloe also reserved a few snaps for solo shots of herself.

The son of former St. Louis Cardinals star Matt Holliday, Jackson first met Chloe while they were still high school students in Stillwater, Oklahoma. After getting engaged in late 2022, the couple, who are both 20, tied the knot in early 2024.

The first overall pick of the 2022 MLB draft by the Baltimore Orioles, Jackson Holliday finally got to realize his big-league dreams when the O's called him up in mid-April. However, the youngster only managed to hit .059/.111/.059 with one RBI in 10 games before being sent back down to Triple-A.

Since returning to Triple-A Norfolk, Holliday has been lighting it up. Now a .274/.444/.467 hitter through 74 games, Holliday has also logged 7 home runs, 28 RBIs, as well as 60 walks. Although the Orioles wanted him to go back to the minor leagues to gain some invaluable exposure and experience, it looks as though the young star will be back in the lineup before the end of the 2024 MLB season.

Chloe remains Jackson Holliday's biggest fan

While Holliday has not played in an MLB game since the O's fixture against the Los Angeles Angels on April 23, many believe that his MLB career is far from over. Throughout the whirlwind season to date, Chloe has provided key emotional support to her husband and recently wrote on her Instagram:

"My guy always proud of you and your love for the Lord and the game"

With the Orioles looking to book their second straight postseason berth, Holliday will likely see action again this season. Thankfully, the 20-year-old seems to have constructed a robust system of support and encouragement around him from those who matter most.
