Famous LSU gymnast and social media star Olivia Dunne wished her boyfriend Paul Skenes a happy birthday on Wednesday through social media. They have been dating for about a year.
Dunne, who has over 7 million followers across social media platforms, shared glimpses of their celebratory evening on Instagram.
The first photo showed Dunne hugging her boyfriend on a field with the caption “happy birthday @paulskenes” with a love emoji.
She walked down memory lane for the second picture. It was from the time when the couple were in Indianapolis for Skenes’ Triple-A game. The couple’s destination that night was the city's famous St. Elmo’s Steakhouse.
This has been a perfect year for both.
Paul Skenes, who led LSU to the NCAA championship in June and was the No. 1 pick in the MLB draft in July, debuted with the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Chicago Cubs on May 11. He entered Wednesday's start with an ERA of 2.25 and has struck out 25 players in three games.
Olivia Dunne, who was on LSU's NCAA championship in April, made her debut at the 60th Anniversary event of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch. The event took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York and was later taken to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida. According to Dunne, being at an SI event has always been a dream.
"Being a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is a dream come true. There’s a lot of young girls who look up to me, and I feel like a lot of young girls also follow Sports Illustrated," Dunne said in April 2023.
When Paul Skenes surprised Olivia Dunne
In February, Olivia Dunne received a sweet surprise from her boyfriend Paul Skenes. Dunne shared a photo on social media of a pair of heart-shaped earrings, revealing they were a gift from Skenes.
“Thank You Love” Dunne captioned one of the photos.
The earrings were not the only surprise that she got. Skenes had also arranged a massage session for her before giving the gift. The gesture comes after Skenes cheered Dunne on from the stands during a meet, showcasing their supportive and loving relationship.
