This week, Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne posted about catching a flight to Paris to witness her fellow LSU athletes and US gymnasts in action. On Saturday, she posted stories from the "City of Light" while also attending various games.

In a series of photos shared by LSU gymnasts, Dunne and her sister Julz explored the streets of Paris, exploring Italian food, local snacks and delicacies like "Gyat."

Dunne also posted snaps of her meeting with fellow LSU athletes and US gymnastics stars. In one of the snaps, she enjoyed watching beach volleyball, which was being played at 14,000-seat Champ-de-Mars Park with the Eiffel Tower in the background. There, she took part in the Mexican wave as well.

Jere Hribar of Croatia, Sabrina Lyn of Jamaica, Helle Tuxen of Norway, and Jovan Lekic of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the only four current LSU athletes participating in the Summer Games. Simone Biles, along with Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee and Hezly Rivera, will represent the US gymnastics team.

Olivia Dunne to play for LSU Tigers for her final year

Earlier this month, Olivia Dunne, who won the NCAA championship with the Lady Tigers in April, announced her return and will play in her fifth and last year of eligibility for the LSU Tigers.

This came as something of a surprise since it was rumored that she might be done with college gymnastics after winning the much-awaited national title. Instead, she has decided to defend the program's first NCAA title and shared the news on social media, leaving LSU fans buzzing.

“This past year I found a renewed love of the sport. I had trained a lot in the off season, so I felt really strong and healthy from the start and ready to contribute,” said Dunne.
“I really enjoyed the dynamic of the team this year and it all came together well. Winning the national championships was a great team accomplishment, but I feel like I have more to give as an individual competitor.”

Dunne will join Haleigh Bryant, Sierra Ballard, Chase Brock and Alyona Shchennikova to help defend LSU's title.
