Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne is enjoying her time off, visiting Paris, then spending a busy day in New York before finally arriving in Pittsburgh to attend Skenes' start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Now that she is in Pennsylvania, she is catching up with other Pirates players and their wives.
The LSU gymnast first rocked a white backless dress to go with her wavy curls. However, she changed the outfit to black as the couple went for a birthday treat from another Pirates pitcher.
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jared Jones celebrated his 23rd birthday on Tuesday. Dunne and Skenes, along with two other Pirates couples, went for lunch in Pennsylvania's Monterey Bay Fish Grotto.
Dunne spent the last week in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games, where she cheered for the U.S. and fellow LSU athletes while also visiting various landmarks in the "City of Love." While there, she visited the city's iconic landmarks, like the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum.
Olivia Dunne announces her return to LSU for fifth and final year
Many thought that after winning the NCAA championship in April, Olivia Dunne would say goodbye to the college landscape. However, last month, she left everyone surprised after announcing her decision to return to the program and help the Lady Tigers defend their NCAA crown.
"There’s something about putting on a purple and gold leotard. There’s something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans. There’s something about being pushed by your coaches to do your very best. And there’s something about being part of a team that made school history," Dunne said in her video.
"No matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there’s just something about LSU. And that’s why I’m here to say, I’m not Dunne yet."
Sierra Ballard and Haleigh Bryant have already announced their return to LSU. Now it seems Dunne will join them in their bid to retain the championship.
She has been enjoying a fine year off the field as well. She signed a name, image and likeness deal with Passes, became a brand ambassador for Nautica and also featured in the 60th-anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated.
