After spending the weekend at Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center in New York City, Olivia Dunne has returned to Baton Rouge, where she is training at LSU's gymnasium in preparation for her final season and defend the NCAA crown with the Tigers.
On Tuesday, she posted photos from her workout on the gymnastics mat, wearing a green cropped tank and gray shorts while performing a sit-spin. She also enjoyed some treats: a coffee from Reve Coffee Lab in Baton Rouge and a dessert from Andy's Frozen Custard. Additionally, she shared some cozy moments with her pet, Roux.
Dunne aims to finish her college career on a high note. The gymnast will be entering her fifth year and announced her return for one more season in July through an Instagram post.
"There’s something about putting on a purple and gold leotard. There’s something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans. There’s something about being pushed by your coaches to do your very best. And there’s something about being part of a team that made school history," Dunne said in the video.
"No matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there’s just something about LSU. And that’s why I’m here to say, I’m not Dunne yet. Here’s to Year Five, baby."
Olivia Dunne goes undercover and gets an 8% discount on Paul Skenes' baseball cards
During her time at the Javits Center, Olivia Dunne engaged in many activities, including going shopping for her beau, Paul Skenes, who signed Topps baseball cards. Skenes is a rookie ace playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Olivia Dunne wore an all-black attire while talking to the seller, who informed the LSU gymnast about the prices of various cards. Dunne was interested in two cards: one for $750 and the other at $2400. However, she found the prices of both very high, quipping:
"But he's just a pitcher."
After much to-and-fro, both parties settled for $2450, with Dunne carrying out a handshake to confirm the deal. This way, she purchased the cards at an 8% discount on the offered price of $3150.
