On Friday, Pittsburgh Pirates phenom Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne was featured in an Instagram post by the Louisiana State University gymnastics team, as the 22-year-old stole the show with a dazzling performance.

Taking on Iowa State University, Dunne performed her beam routine, scoring a superb 9.825, ultimately proving vital in edging the encounter in favor of LSU. Her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, was also spotted at the venue cheering her on.

Dunne is currently in the midst of her fifth season competing for the LSU women's gymnastics team. Though student-athletes at the collegiate level typically only represent their respective universities for four years while studying for their undergraduate degree, Dunne made herself an exception to the norm by announcing her decision to compete for an extra season despite having already graduated.

Per reports, Olivia Dunne met her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, while he played for the university's baseball team. The pair were allegedly introduced to each other by mutual friends, and quickly hit if off.

Dunne and her LSU teammates had a superb 2024 season, as they eventually went on to win the NCAA women's gymnastics title in April of last year. Looking at the 22-year-old's caption, it appears that's a feat that they plan to replicate this year.

Looking at the quality of their squad, it's safe to say the Lady Tigers will certainly be backing themselves to successfully defend their crown. Already regarded as one of the finest collegiate gymnastics programs in the country, the team is set to get even stronger with Hezly Rivera, a member of the Gold Medal-winning USA squad at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, having also committed to the program.

The way things seem to be shaping up heading into the new season, Olivia Dunne will surely be fancying her chances of having a fairytale ending to her era in the famous purple of LSU.
