Paul Skenes and his girlfriend Olivia Dunne made the most of Pirates Day on Monday with a group dinner date with Skenes' teammates Jared Jones and Kyle Nicolas and their fiancées Rylie Fox and Ali Martin. Dunne and Skenes posted stories from the group dinner on their Instagram accounts.
As seen in Dunne's story, all three girls color-coordinated their outfits. In Skenes' story, the group can be seen sitting around a table and enjoying cold beverages.
The Pittsburgh Pirates finished a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, losing 2-1. The D-backs took Games 1 and 3 by the slimmest margins. Skenes started on Sunday but struggled on the mound as Arizona won the contest 6-5.

Skenes struck out four, walked three batters and gave up two runs on five hits in 5.1 innings pitched. He hasn't been able to register a win through three starts in the second half of the campaign.
Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, was present in the stands to cheer him on. She has been present in the family press box at PNC Park for many of Skenes' home starts this season.
Dunne became the highest-earning collegiate athlete and won her maiden NCAA title with the LSU Tigers in April.
Skenes, too, achieved glory in college baseball with the Tigers in 2023, after which he was selected as the No. 1 pick by the Pirates in the 2023 MLB draft. He received a $9.6 million signing bonus and has impressed since making his MLB debut in May.

Skenes will hope to register his maiden win of the second half of the campaign when he takes to the mound against the Dodgers on Aug. 10.
