LA Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez enjoyed his first bobblehead night on Tuesday ahead of the game against the Seattle Mariners at Dodger Stadium. Joining him on the occasion were his brother, mother, his wife, Jennifer and his three sons, Julian, Teoscar Jr., and Mateo Javier.

The three toddlers threw their first pitches to the Dodgers star, followed by a family moment where the group posed for photos. On Wednesday, Teoscar Hernandez shared glimpses from the pre-game event on his social media.

When Teoscar Hernandez decided to enter the eight-slugger field, not many expected him to emerge triumphant. And yet he overcame the challenges of Pete Alonso, Marcell Ozuna, Adolis Garcia, and Gunnar Henderson in the first round, while taking down Phillies slugger Alec Bohm in the semifinals to book his spot in the final, where he would meet Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals.

During this entire setting, Hernandez's family held their breath amid the intense finals face-off until the very last swing of Witt Jr., who could only hit 13 home runs, falling one short of Hernandez's total of 14 home runs. The Dodgers star lifted the Home Run Derby title, joining Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Juan Soto as the third Dominican to win the trophy in the past three years.

“I remember looking to the left and thinking, ‘Alright, I’m just going to pass out,’” Jennifer Hernández, Teoscar’s wife said. “I felt like my heart was going to come out of my mouth, I was so nervous.”

At the MLB All-Star red carpet ahead of the All-Star game, Teoscar Hernandez arrived with his family. When the reporter asked Jennifer if she believed Hernandez could win the Derby, she replied:

"I always bet on him, I know he can do anything he sets his mind to do," Jennifer said.

Signed to a one-year deal with the LA Dodgers, Teoscar Hernandez has made the most of the opportunity this season. He has batted .265 with 128 hits, 26 home runs, 81 RBIs and 68 runs scored in 125 games.
