Tommy Pham and the Chicago White Sox have had a difficult start to the 2024 MLB season. While the team didn't have tremendous expectations, their 14-33 record puts them last in the AL Central, and they don't look destined to give their fans much to cheer in this campaign.

Pham, however, has been good for the White Sox, especially considering he signed a one-year, $3 million, minor-league deal (including incentives) with the team. While he has been hitting well above his career .261 average (.333), his style has been on display away from the field too.

MLB Fits took to Instagram to appreciate Tommy Pham's watch, which retails for $499,999 on Jaztime.com, and the photos show him cruising in a Lamborghini. They captioned the post:

"Tommy Pham’s watch makes it look like he’s literally wearing a diamond on his wrist 💎."

The price of the watch on Audemars Piguet's website is available by request, but they offer extensive descriptions and specifications of the product. The watch includes an 18-carat white gold case, a sapphire crystal caseback, an 18-carat white gold dial, and in total 646 baguette-cut diamonds. It's also water resistant up to 20 meters.

White Sox impressed with Tommy Pham

As the White Sox are expected to be sellers in 2024, expectations are not high for the season. However, that doesn't mean the team isn't interested in winning, nor fails to highlight good performances and work ethic when they see it.

At the start of the month, shortstop Paul DeJong spoke to reporters and shared his thoughts on Tommy Pham's performances in Chicago:

“Tommy is a gamer. We're happy to have him. I think he's a spark plug for our offense. He wants to play every day. He wants to run, he wants to hit. He plays the game the right way, and he's a great competitor. So, we're really lucky to have him.”

DeJong wasn't the only one impressed by the 36-year-old, as manager Pedro Grifol explained:

"You know what's impressive? And this would be a lesson for every player out there, every kid, every college kid, every high school kid. They should watch this guy work. This guy competes in the cage. He competes off the tee. He competes in soft toss.
“He's constantly competing and preparing for a game. And then when you watch him on the field, he's doing something that comes normal to him. He doesn't take pitches off, he doesn't take flips off, doesn't take tee work off.”

While the White Sox feel like they are building to the future, fans can at least enjoy the performances of their standouts in 2024, which includes Tommy Pham.
