Carlos Rodon, the starting pitcher for the New York Yankees, played a pivotal role in helping his team reach the World Series last season. His wife, Ashley, is active on social media and recently shared a picture of their children to spread some holiday cheer.

Ashley shared a post on Christmas Day, showing the Rodon family dressed as Disney characters. Although the photos were taken around Halloween, Ashley said they were too good not to share, so she decided to post them on Christmas.

Ashley captioned the post:

"These forgot to make it to the feed so we're using it for Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone."

Ashley and the kids were all smiles during the photo session, dressed up as characters from "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Carlos Rodon responds to threats against his wife

After a disappointing performance by Carlos Rodon in October, his wife Ashley became the target of online threats.

Ashley shared screenshots from several users on X who mocked the couple's IVF journey and made explicit threats against their children.

“People are pretty disgusting at times,’’ Carlos said (per NJ.com). “But that doesn’t explain Yankee fans. I don’t think that’s who they are. I understand (fans) get frustrated with the game, but my message to fans all around is, ‘We are human as well.’"

“We’re not always perfect. Let’s not forget this is just a game and don’t threaten people’s families.”

Ashley, originally from Greenwich, Connecticut, met Carlos in 2014, and they began dating before marrying in 2018. The couple has three children: Willow, Bo and Silo.

As the wife of a baseball player, Ashley Rodon must stay closely involved with her husband's season. In October, she shared that she began enjoying the season more as she bonded with Amy Cole, the wife of Gerrit Cole.

In an episode of a podcast with Dymin Lynn, wife of MLB pitcher Lance Lynn, Ashley revealed that she had become close friends with Amy.

"Gerrit Cole's wife, Amy, has probably become one of my best friends on the team, just because, naturally, you know how it is, like 'pitcher's wives,'" she said (per The Athlete Lifestyle).

"We sit together every game, and that's probably made it one of the more special parts of this all, it's like I've got my buddy next to me every day and it's fun. I've probably never had this much fun with baseball. It's been really great."
