Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday is enjoying some time away from baseball spending time with his wife, Chloe, before his second MLB season. But Jackson isn't the only star player in the Holliday family as younger brother Ethan looks to be a future star as well.
Ethan Holliday, who is still in high school in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and his girlfriend, Mary O'Neil, are enjoying some time in paradise, and they are keeping fans updated on their travels.
O'Neil shared several images and videos to her own Instagram story on Monday, but Ethan made sure to let his followers in on the fun. He shared a link to Mary's story on his Instagram page, and the images in videos capture plenty of fun in the sun.
Jackson Holliday met his wife, Chloe, when the two were together at Stillwater (Oklahoma) High School, and that's where Ethan and Mary O'Neil met as well. The two are still just dating at this time but could also be looking to follow in Jackson and Chloe's footsteps.
Ethan Holliday a top prospect
Jackson Holliday was the top pick in the 2022 MLB draft by the Baltimore Orioles, following in the footsteps of father Matt, who had a long and successful career, most notably with the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals. Now his brother Ethan is also the top prospect coming out of high school.
Ethan Holliday still has to play his senior season at Stillwater High, but he has already caught the attention of professional scouts. In early December, MLB Pipeline projected Ethan as the No. 1 pick for the 2025 MLB draft.
There will still be time for both Jackson Holliday and his brother Ethan to relax before they begin playing baseball again, but each young infielder has pressure on them to perform.
