Just like Acuna Jr., Laborde also hails from Venezuela. Per reports, the two first met when Acuna was playing his second big league season with the Braves.

The pair eventually tied the knot in August 2023 in Los Angeles. The couple currently have two sons together: Ronald Daniel, born in 2020, and Jamal, born in 2022.

Looking at Maria Laborde's Instagram feed, it appears she headed to France, then Italy, and most recently, Madrid, Spain.

On Monday, she posted a series of snaps as she explored the Spanish capital.

"You are light, no one can overshadow you ✨" Laborde captioned her Instagram post.

For Ronald Acuna Jr., the 2024 season was one to forget. Coming into the campaign after being named the NL MVP for the 2023 season, Braves fans' expectations were sky-high.

However, the 27-year-old started the campaign somewhat slowly before sustaining a knee injury in late May against the Pittsburgh Pirates, ending his season prematurely. As it turned out, the Braves missed their star man dearly, failing to win the NL East for the first time since 2017.

Though they did qualify for the postseason after beating the New York Mets on the final day of the regular season, they were quickly eliminated by a San Diego Padres outfit on top of its game.

For now, Ronald can look to spend plenty of quality time with his loved ones before he gears up to make his much-anticipated return in 2025.
