Did the Daddy Yankee curse cause the downfall of Mexico and Puerto Rico?
Not only was Daddy Yankee in town for Puerto Rico's loss, but he was also at the last Venezuela game. He was in the crowd wearing Venezuelan colors and they lost to the United States when Trea Turner hit a game-winning grand slam late in the contest.
To make things even worse, Daddy Yankee showed up for the latest Mexican contest. In the quarterfinals, Mexico took on Team Japan. They held a 3-0 lead and a 5-3 lead late in the contest.
Unfortunately, for Mexico, the singer was sporting their colors. They lost on a Munetaka Murakami walk-off double to end their magical World Baseball Classic run.
