San Diego Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar has a close friendship with shortstop Ha-seong Kim. In an interview uploaded on the Padres' YouTube channel on Sunday, the two talked about how their brotherhood has grown stronger since Kim joined the club in 2021.

Talking to Padres presenter Mariluz Cook, Kim shared via his interpreter that their friendship began in spring training of his first year in MLB. Their lockers were beside each other, and Profar, who previously played against Kim in Korea, helped show him the ropes.

Despite the language barrier, they have formed a strong understanding over the years. Profar also talked about how it's always fun to be around Ha-seong (4:48).

"Something that a lot of people don't know, this guy is the funniest dude in the league. It's a blessing to be around him. I'm a fun guy, and he keeps me happy all the time."
