Trevor Bauer explains why he is not being signed by any major league teams despite his great performance in the Mexican League. He's been out of the league for over a year, as he got laid off by the Dodgers in 2023.

Trevor Bauer has always tried to pitch himself to the major league as he wants to make an entrance again. His Mexican League stint is doing wonders for him, and he boasts a 10-0 record in just 81 innings this season.

The Dodgers laid off Bauer as he was falsely accused of sexual assault and battery lawsuit in 2023 In a video on X, a fan can be seen asking him a question while he was trying to promote his merch.

"Reporters need to point blank ask major league general managers why they will not sign you," the fan asked.

In response, Trevor Bauer explained his stand in detail:

"Some have been asked. Apparently it’s potentially against someone’s morals to sign a falsely accused innocent person or some such bullsh*t. Even so, many gms would sign me in a heartbeat if they were allowed to. The question isn’t with the gms. “Its an ownership and mlb decision”, Baur wrote.

Bauer has proven his mettle in the Mexican League, now it's to be seen if the MLB is ready to bend its ways to give him a chance.

Trevor Bauer might sue the MLB for not being signed

Pitcher Trevor Bauer's path back to Major League Baseball remains uncertain. Following his tenure in Japan and currently with Mexico's Diablos Rojos, Bauer's return to the majors doesn't seem to be a sure shot.

Despite vehement claims of innocence regarding past allegations, Trevor Bauer doesn't see any way of getting back in the major league again. Renowned baseball analyst Bill James recently suggested that MLB could be facing a potential billion-dollar lawsuit if they fail to pave the way for Bauer's return.

On X, Bauer agreed to James' sentiments, hinting at a legal course if MLB continues to block him.

"I’d really prefer not to go this route, but if I continue being kept out of baseball as I currently am, I may have no other choice,” said Bauer. "Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that and I’m allowed to return to my career that was taken from me over provably false allegations that never held any merit to begin with."

It's evident that Bauer wants to play for the big league again, and he's trying to find every way to get back in the MLB once again.
